The Protect mode is a powerful way to protect your workspaces, for example in teaching situations or in autonomous installations.
More specifically, if you do not want the user to change anything in your workspace, as it should be, for example, in interactive terminals.
When the protect mode is activated, only the racks and various commands/panels that you can choose, are visible.
In the following example, only the mains commands are visible and it's impossible to break down the workspace.
Example of protected mode
Type the password anywhere in an Usine’s window to activate/deactivate the protect mode.
If you have workspace(s) that you want to be loaded in protect mode proceed as follow:
/Deploy/in the Usine's package root folder. On MAC, right click on the .app and choose view content of the package.
Usine will be automatically started in protect mode and the start-page-panel
will only display the content of the
like in the screenshot bellow:

/Deploy/ folder contains only one workspace,
this workspace is loaded directly and no start-page is displayed.
In conjunction with the workspace settings you can create very precise layouts for your project:
The password you want to use to activate/deactivate the protect mode.
By default the password is : protect.
